FG-140 is a fire extinguishing agent for use in pump trucks and spray applications. Thickens water and increases the efficiency of water therefore when it is applied in the face of fire, it clings to the surface being sprayed and does not allow oxygen to feed the fire. This product is designed to reduce the effects of fire in temporary use. The product can be applied to any surface when fire is expected. Such instances of approaching Forest Fires would allow FG-140 to be applied to a structure up to 72 hours in advance. The thick, viscous material coats the outside of the structure and significantly reduces the chance of it catching on fire.
