This unique blend of acrylic copolymers and surfactants effectively bonds and encapsulates particulate matter such as asbestos and lead based paint. Used primarily as a precautionary measure in working with fibrous or dusty surfaces to tame dust and friable matter, creating a safer work environment. Loc Down significantly reduces harm to workers when performing services to insulation that may become airborne during repairs. The product is applied by use of a common garden sprayer. It settles the dust and fibers down and greatly enhances safety on the job. Loc-Down is used in conjunction with Fire-Loc and TEMP-COAT 101 in performing industrial repairs to high heat surfaces and on buildings that are surfaced with Transite or asbestos type shingles.
